Keshlata college of pharmacy celebrate World Pharmacist Day on 25th September with great enthusiasm to highlight the vital role of pharmacists in improving global health. The event aimed to create awareness among students about the responsibilities, ethics, and contributions of pharmacists in the healthcare system.
The program began with a welcome speech by the Head of the Department, who emphasized the theme of this year’s celebration and explained how pharmacists play an essential role in ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. This was followed by an inspirational address by the Principal, who encouraged students to take pride in the pharmacy profession. Various activities were organized for the students, including poster presentations, model exhibitions, quizzes, and group discussions based on pharmacy practice, drug safety, and innovations in healthcare. Students actively participated and showcased their knowledge and creativity. A special seminar was conducted by invited guest speakers from the pharmaceutical industry, who shared their experiences and guided students about career opportunities and the importance of patient counseling, drug regulation, and research.
